I started my journey in custom upholstery and design after graduating Wyotech in 2004. Since then I’ve garnered 10+ years working in the performance boat industry along with 5+ years in aviation. Custom upholstery is my passion and I look forward to sharing that with you!

Mayden Design Co. was born from a place of frustration and despair. I’ve been in the creative design industry for quite some time now and I’ve witnessed over and over again a beautiful model of helping people and bringing their design ideas to life turn into a corporate model of exact formulations to create better ROI and increase profit margins at the expense of the clients wants and desires. Companies that promise attention to detail and the kind of love and respect you need for your project end up turning a blind eye towards the finer aspects of the project in favor of getting things done as fast and as low budget as possible, all the while charging top dollar for mediocre execution.
I, Nick Mayden, have decided to leave the corporate design environment in search of greener pastures, a place where I can give each and every project that comes through my doors the attention and love of a designer that my clients deserve. Gone are the days where your project is just a number or statistic, my projects will never leave my shop until they are being received by a smiling customer that is fully satisfied with the end result.
I believe I can operate a place of creativity and design while feeding my family and pursuing my passion for design alongside a commitment to quality and satisfaction and so my journey with my new company, Mayden Design Co, begins!

Located in Foristell, Missouri, our family-owned shop is coming full circle to meet the needs of our current and future clients.
